Harper Smith

Hi, I'm Harper Smith. I am 18 and a Senior at Dunlap High School! While growing up, I learned what I liked and didn't like in all the different activities. Throughout Middle School and High School, I participated in widespread sports and activities. I was surrounded by lots of friends and peers, making it easy for me to fit in. Towards 8th grade year was when the beginning of all the drama started. I had to learn how to identify what good and bad friends looked like and how to remove myself from uncomfortable situations. I have had a hard time finding things that made me happy and friends who share common morals and interests as me. In High school, I learned that keeping your circle small can be highly beneficial to your mental health. It took quite some time to figure out what works best for me. So the past year, I have strived to create awareness and educate middle schools on how to handle those issues calmly to help themselves and others.
